The name Ipíêgè-êlê Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Ipíêgè-êlê Fêqê was founded by Trêgë Gareshê, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
Ipíêgè-êlê Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 22°C (71°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 25°C (77°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 20°C (68°F). Ipíêgè-êlê Fêqê receives an average of 220 cm/y (86 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Ipíêgè-êlê Fêqê covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 5538 m (18169 ft) above sea level.

Ipíêgè-êlê Fêqê was founded durring the early 14th century in spring of the year 1341, by Trêgë Gareshê. The establishment of Ipíêgè-êlê Fêqê was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Trêgë Gareshê struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Ipíêgè-êlê Fêqê as a prison colony.
Ipíêgè-êlê Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ipíêgè-êlê Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.
Ipíêgè-êlê Fêqê is buildings are built arround a single spacious paverstone mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks and fences to provide minimal protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. Ipíêgè-êlê Fêqê's somewhat suffishent are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the town as needed.

Cultural Notes
Ipíêgè-êlê Fêqê's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for the combined use of arcuated and trabeated construction, employing arches and constructed with post and lintel. The arch served as the style's chief structural element, with flanking columns serving as buttresses or decorations. While the general shape of their structures could be generously described as simplistic, the use of these arches and columns created a most distinct ascetic which is easily distinguishable on sight to armatures and experts alike.

The quake brought ruin to Ipíêgè-êlê Fêqê, which lost 236 people, 173 livestock, and 43 buildings in the earthquake. The day of the quake is remembered by many as Trepidation's Day.
